Allergies have turned my brain to pudding, but I wanted to share my most recent finished cardigan, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking. The yarn is Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio DK, and it was knit on a US8/5mm needles to make an airier fabric.

  1. Gorgeous! I can’t wait for the pattern to be available ^__^

  2. Beautiful cardigan! I have a question regarding the sleeves, I’m currently knitting a Myrna and decided to make the sleeves the length you have on this one. Totally new at knitting garments, I am guestimating on how much I should decrease down to but I wanted it snug with negative ease. Doing this has resulted in the 16mm circle needles I am using stretches my stitches out because it is too long, would you recommend switching to dpns? Google has failed me in this question lol

    1. You can use whatever needle length works best for you! I don’t like using DPNs so I usually switch to a modified magic loop, but the end result is all the same.

I love the cardigan, and the color is fantastic. You mentioned allergies, and I thought “it’s still freezing outside…” and then I remembered that I live in a state that changes weather faster than you can imagine, and now I am feeling the spring allergy season start here. And all from your one mention of it…bless you! 🙂
