Not My Fo: Single Skein of Sock Yarn Swap

ys01

I finally remembered to take pictures of what I got in my knitting group‘s single skein of sock yarn swap! Ariel knit me a lovely Shaelyn shawlette.

I’ve been wearing it quite a bit. The bright yellow color fits into my wardrobe nicely, and it’s the right weight for the changing weather.

    What a lovely sunny shawl!

I love Shaelyn – you’ve reminded me that I definitely want to knit another one.

  2. Is the weather changing where you’re at? Here it’s still snowy… but that bright yellow makes it feel like spring is close by!

    1. It’s definitely changing! Seattle only really gets 6-8 weeks of winter weather, and then it goes back to cool, mild temperatures and rain.

  3. How absolutely fantastic to get such a lovely package in the mail!!! It must feel good to send something off to a knitter – they’ll get how much work it was 🙂 I just love the colour – it’d look great with your colouring.

    1. We actually meet in person so we got to do the big reveal all together. It was a lot of fun.

  4. Lovely colour, lovely shawl!

  5. I’m so glad you like it!

And jealous of your pictures. Can I borrow them for my blog / project page? Mine is just a crummy blocking picture.

    1. Of course you can!

  6. That is such a lovely shawl. I imagine it brightens up the dreary winter days. What yarn was used?

    1. According to Ariel’s project page, it’s Yarntini Semi-Solid Sock.

  7. I am seriously in love with this!! Beautiful!! 🙂

Visiting your blog & following via Bloglovin!!
