When my parents brought up some of my things from California, they also picked up Bean to take her back home with them. I mentioned awhile back that she wasn’t settling in well, and she still hadn’t when it came time for me to move. I can’t really blame her. If you were a dog who went from having acres to run around on with horses to attempt to herd, would you be that happy moving to an urban environment where there are always new people and noise? I think not. So, she’s going back to the house where she has lived pretty much her entire life. I’m sad that she’s not staying with me, but I think it’s what’s best for her. Hopefully she’ll go back to being a happy, friendly dog.

Thanks. Some dogs just aren’t suited for city life.

That’s a bummer that it didn’t work out. Are you going to be dog-less for awhile, or are you going to find a dog with a temperament more suited to where you live?

I don’t think I’m going to get another dog until I’ve got somewhere with a backyard.

Awwww. Poor Bean. I know the feeling… My poor kitty has had to up and move a few times, and she was less than happy at our last place. They’re just like people when it comes to happiness…

That’s sad 🙁 when I moved, I tok my cat with me and she didn’t like being a strictly indoor cat, so I had to send her back to live with my parents, she’s fat and happy still 🙂 It’s sad when you have to let your pets go but Bean will go back to being a happy dog again! HUGS!

Awww, I know you’ll miss having Bean around, but I bet she goes back to her normal self soon! And at least you can visit!

Awwww. I have a pet named Bean too! Except my Bean is a cat.

Aww, that must be tough, but it will definitely be better for Bean.

Poor Bean. I had the same issue with my dog, although he was use to being around people and watching cars go by in the suburbs. Being in the country was a little too quiet for him.
I hope you still get somewhat frequent Bean visits.
