Blue Cable and Lace Raglan

This sweater has been finished for a while, but it was sitting around waiting for buttons. I didn’t have anything quite right in my stash, but then my friend gave me these beautiful handmade mahogany buttons, and they were just perfect for this sweater.

I knit the sweater from the bottom up so that the cables and lace could flow the way I wanted them to. That meant that I had to seam the underarms, but I think the end result made those little seams worthwhile.

  5. This is absolutely lovely, I can’t wait for the pattern either! Would you say it’s the same level of difficulty as Hetty or easier?

    1. I’d say it’s more difficult than Hetty, but not by a lot. There’s just a little bit more going on that needs to be kept track of.

  6. I love the lace motif and the yarn is beautiful and perfect for this sweater.

  7. I remember the sneak peeks of the lace and cables you posted on Instagram! The final product is gorgeous! The yarn, the lace, the cables, and those buttons!! Beautiful!
