I forgot to share my new pattern on Tuts+ here! It’s for a reversible cable scarf that matches the convertible mittens I designed for them. This was the first true scarf I’ve knit in a long time. I can’t even remember when I last made one, but I used to knit scarves all the time. They’re great projects to work on while you’re hanging out with friends or watching a movie when you don’t want to worry about shaping and fit. I watched a bunch of Coen brothers movies while working on this scarf. You can add the pattern to your Ravelry queue here.

I’ve knitted this twice and really enjoyed it. I would love to make a blanket of the pattern, but am too much of a novice knitter to alter the pattern myself. Is there a wider version of this anywhere?
Thanks so much!-
I haven’t published a wider version, but it’d be easy to adapt the scarf to use in a blanket. You’d just need to cast on more stitches in the same increment as the scarf.
