I just have to button band left to knit on Vianne which meant it was time to start a new knitting project! I try to start my new project before I finish my current project so I’m never stuck without something to knit. In this case I’m starting a cabled pullover for fall using undyed Thirteen Mile Worsted. Despite what the name might imply, it’s closer to a DK weight, but other than that, it’s quite a big change from the smooth, bright, poppy red Hazel Knits Lively DK I’ve been working with! It’s very rustic and woolly, and I’m looking forward to having a nice, classic, sheepy sweater in my collection.

Fun insight. I don’t start knitting a new project, but when I’m within about a week of finishing, I pick a new pattern and buy my yarn for it so I’m all prepared. And I always start knitting it the day I finish the old one. I don’t think I’d seriously never knit again if i didn’t 😉 but I do think I’d be lazy and binge watch without keeping my hands busy 🙂

I love your approach of starting a new project before finishing the current one!
