There’s a Pink Chuck in My Future

Chuck_Pink_Yarn

I’ve got my yarn and pattern picked out for the Selfish Sweater KAL that starts on Friday. I finally decided on knitting another Chuck in bright pink. I was trying to pick out what color to use, and I realized that I don’t have many pink sweaters. Pink is a color that I sometimes struggle with because it can be a bit too girly or childish, but I love its brightness, warmth, and impact, and many of my dresses have touches of pink on them. And once I got the idea of knitting a pink sweater stuck in my head, I couldn’t get rid of it. I had to find myself some pink yarn! I ended up having to go to a few different yarn stores to find the right pink, but eventually I found this yarn at Tea Cozy Yarn in Ballard, and I knew it was the one for me.

Sounds exciting Andi. I too avoid pink as it has girly, childish connotations but… the right pink is great, preferably bright and zingy. It’s gonna look good, can see it now. Happy Christmas celebrations to you!

  5. That Chuck is going to be gorgeous! Mine will be red.
