Cables and Lace

nfc_raglan_wip

My current project is a bottom up raglan, and because it’s knit from the bottom up, it doesn’t look like much as a WIP. Although I don’t believe in the try-on-as-you-go method for fitting sweaters, I do like being able to put on my WIPs and admire my work. That’s one of the many reasons why I prefer working from the top down, but sometimes you just have to do what the stitch pattern wants to do. I like this stitch pattern best when it’s running in this direction, so I had to design around that.

P.S. There’s a final poll up to decide what we’ll be knitting for the fall KAL. Be sure to vote!

  1. So glad I’m not the only one who likes top down seamlessnot for fit but for a little bit of prancing around in front of the mirror!
