My current project is a bottom up raglan, and because it’s knit from the bottom up, it doesn’t look like much as a WIP. Although I don’t believe in the try-on-as-you-go method for fitting sweaters, I do like being able to put on my WIPs and admire my work. That’s one of the many reasons why I prefer working from the top down, but sometimes you just have to do what the stitch pattern wants to do. I like this stitch pattern best when it’s running in this direction, so I had to design around that.
