A Bright Orange Shawl

It’s all done! Unfortunately the weather seemed to know that I was about to finish this shawl to wear on mild days.  We had a bit of a cold snap so now my heavier cowls that were too much a few weeks ago are perfect, and this shawl isn’t substantial enough. But at least it will be ready for me in the spring! I used about 3/4 of my skein of Hazel Knits Entice, and I knit this on 3.75 mm needles.

  1. It’s beautiful!

  2. That looks quite lovely!

It’s a knitter’s Murphy’s Law. Heavy sweaters will be completed in the middle of a heat wave and shawls will be done during a cold snap.

  3. That shawl turned out wonderfully! glad you got the bind off sorted, and the colour is amazing- so rich and flattering!

  4. Love it!! It’ll be waiting for you in spring. 😉

  5. Beautiful color! Love that cardigan, too.
