SUMMERSALE

Today is the first official day of summer, and to celebrate, all Untangling Knots patterns on Ravelry are 50% off when you checkout using the coupon code SUMMER13. The coupon code is good until midnight today, and when you’re done pattern shopping, I’d like to invite you to come join my new Ravelry group.

Hopefully this will help you find something to knit this summer! A lot of people don’t like to knit during the warmer months, but I think it’s hard to beat a day spent sitting in the shade with a cold drink and a sweater in progress. Last summer I made myself a light, breezy, short sleeved sweater, but by the time I finished it, the weather turned cool. This year I’m planning ahead and knitting myself a sweater for fall. What are your summer knitting plans?

  • So great! Thank you!
It doesn’t matter what weather it is: I knit and crochet.

  • Yay you started up a group! I knit the whole year around and don’t really adjust what I knit to a more summery weather. I mostly knit with fine yarns and I live in a country where we don’t have long or intense summers so I really don’t feel it’s needed. It helps that my favourite yarn to work with are the more “wintery” yarns. I do knit with summer yarns from time to time, but I prefer wool or alpaca.

  • Wow, I’ve been hesitating between a few of your beautiful patterns (Elsa, Agatha, Marion and Chuck) since I knitted Miette and LOVED the result, and now with such a great sale I just went and bought the four of them, thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Thank you! I saw the announcement on your group on Ravelry and I was finally able to get Marion. I too have started making my sweaters for the Fall/Winter. I really don’t mind knitting/crocheting in the Summer. I have made a few small accessories but, this year I am focusing on my sweaters. I am getting pretty ambitious and hope to have 3-4 done before Fall. We shall see…

  • Thank you so much for having this coupon code! Many relatives of mine have recently asked for short, cropped cardigans, and I adore your Miette pattern. This was the push I needed to get a similar look without the drone of using the same pattern over and over again (as wonderful as it is!) Thanks!

  • Half price patterns?? You’re killing me! LOL!! My summer knitting plans include Agatha and an aran weight shrug.

I’m so happy you created a Ravelry group! That means now I have to get off my butt and photograph my Andi knits!
