Because I mismeasured my vertical gauge, pretty much everything about my sweater was wrong. The scallop placement, neckline, armholes, waist shaping, and hip shaping were higher than they’re supposed to be. I gave myself a day to be angry and then I ripped the whole thing back to the red part.

This is where I’m at today. Those balls of yarn are everything that I had knit before I caught my mistake. Ugh.

  1. Oh man, I’m sorry. Ripping that much is never fun. Good luck on your next try!

  2. Oh, I’m so sad for you! Try to think of the wonderful FO, and not the actual re-knitting process…

  3. I honestly feel your pain. I would have to stick it on the naughty step if it were mine.
