What would you like to see more of?

I’ve been working on a new feature to start next month and it got me thinking about how my blog’s content has evolved over time. I’ve completely stopped doing some types of posts because I forgot about them and there are other types of posts that I’ve been contemplating, but I’m not sure if they fit on this blog. That go me wondering what you would like to see. I figured that asking you would be a nice way of getting new ideas. I made a convenient little poll, but I’d love to hear your comments as well.


Disclaimer: This sort of post usually gets me a handful of comments saying, “It’s your blog. Post what you want.” I will always post what I like to write about, but I value your feedback and this will help give me ideas when I’m not feeling quite so creative.

    I love WIP and “process” posts. I think knitting blogs easily get caught up in the FOs, when we spend much more time on the process.

    I agree with Lauren, love WIP posts. I think Bean is adorable and would love to see more posts about her. Life posts are always interesting and most of the blogs I read are lifestyle with a focus on crafts.

    First I checked everything, and then realized that was the most unhelpful poll-answering ever. So I unchecked a few of them, but honestly they all sound good! I would love to have your take on movies & craft books (because I love reading & crafting & watching movies! I’d do them at the same time if I could!) and I’d enjoy seeing your perspective. Tutorials are cool too, though I don’t know if they’re any fun to write. And fashion posts because I love your aesthetic!

    You can also put me down as one who wouldn’t mind seeing a few cute dog pictures between longer posts! 🙂

    Remember when you had that other “life” blog?! I liked that! Mixing in a little more stuff like that would be awesome.

    And I always love to see the knits you’re working on, but that goes without saying!

    I agree with the “I love Bean” sentiment. I also love seeing how other people style their knits – sometimes when I finish a garment, it’s all like “uhhhh now what?” So more fashion posts = awesome!
