How did you learn to knit? Who taught you? What was your most frustrating project?
When you are creating/knitting/crafting, do you listen to music, a movie, or what? Tell me your favorite album/CD or movie? And when you knit, is there a cup or plate of something yummy to nibble/sip on?
How did you pick up sewing? I’m thinking of doing so myself, so how does one just start off??

I’d love to know what you do when you begin a project… Namely, I’ve been really interested in what people do with swatches (clearly you wash yours?) and picking the gauge as well as if you do anything to treat your wool before you start knitting. I just finished my first non-scarf/non-hat project and I’m at the critical blocking stage, but I admit I’m totally terrified to do it… So if you have any blocking tips, that would be great!
