About Those Short Rows…

OAL_Myrna_Shortrows'

I was asked to go into a little more detail about the short rows sleeve caps on Myrna for the OAL. The pattern has the first couple of short rows written out for you, and then it sets you free to continue to knit as established in those previous rows. In this section you’re zigzagging back and forth and making a trapezoid shape. Each short row should be one stitch longer than the previous short row so you’re always knitting over the wrapped stitch from your previous short row, and eventually the last stitch before marker B will be wrapped.

You can see what’s happening a little more obviously on this short row sleeve cap that is separate from the sweater body and laid flat.
