I’ve always lived pretty places. I guess I’ve just been lucky like that. Today it was beautiful out so I took a walk with my camera. I decided to photograph one of my favorite novelties of North Tacoma. The gulches.
They’re kind of random. The streets are laid out on a grid for the most part but then you’ll hit a big hole with trees in it that the streets have to curve around or dead end into. There are only a few bridges that cross the gulches.
The neighborhood butts right up against the gulches. I’d be creeped out in one of those buildings. I’d worry that my house or shop would fall into the gulch.
