Short Sleeves for Spring

yowza_keyhole_sleeve_WIP

I gave my hand some time off and took a bit of a break from knitting, and now that I’m back to working on this sweater, I’ve been taking it easy. Despite that, it’s coming together quickly because it’s a cropped cardigan with short sleeves for spring, and that’s not a whole lot of sweater. The first sleeve didn’t take long to knit at all! Part of me is tempted to find out if I can finish this sweater over the weekend, but the other part of me knows that challenging myself like that isn’t the best idea ever when I’m trying to not strain my hand again. I just have to repeat to myself that this sweater will get done when it gets done, and it’s not warm enough to wear it yet, anyway!

This is so pretty so far. I just adore the sleeve with the lace detail.

That’s cute. Is it one of your patterns?

    1. It will be! The pattern will be out in a few months.

  3. I love the color. A very cute sweater for Spring!

The orange is pretty and would look good with so many colors….especially blue. I can’t tell, but is there enough space to weave ribbon through the sleeve detail?

    1. I think there’s enough space if that tickles your fancy! The eyelets are a good size because the sweater is knit using a worsted weight yarn on US 8/5mm needles.
