I had the chance to add a few more stitches to my giant granny square blanket while I was waiting for some swatches to dry, and I realized that I haven’t shown you all how big this project has gotten! It’s actually looking like a proper blanket now. At this point it’s plenty big enough to be a lap blanket, so now I feel like I can just work on it until I run out of one of the colors and can’t continue the strip sequence anymore. I started this project last May, and I’m wondering if I can get it done within a year. I don’t work on it too often, but we’ll see what happens!

This blanket looks so much like fun! The thought of making a blanket without joining all the little pieces together is verrrrrry tempting!

I love it!! I’m working on a chevron blanket right now that’s taking me FOREVER, but I really want to learn how to do granny squares! I love the giant granny square!
