Playing Catch Up

With my mint green sweater complete, I can’t stop thinking about knitting some accessories or casting on a sweater with my burgundy yarn, but I’ve got a bit of catching up to do first! I spent this weekend working on getting the pattern for my purple cardigan ready to be sent off to a tech editor.

I’m a bit behind with my self published patterns because higher priority projects with proper deadlines keep popping up. I can’t really complain about that, but it did mean that I spent this weekend drawing schematics and editing photos instead of knitting away on a sweater. When I get this one all done, I’m going to try to be good and not start something new until my mint pullover is done, too. That way I can dive straight in to whatever self publish project I knit next without that nagging feeling that I should be working on something else.

  1. Although I don’t have publishing deadlines or anything serious like that, I do know the feeling of “guilt” when you’re working on a new project instead of finishing an older, more important one! Whatever you do, don’t let the deadlines take the fun out of your fun 🙂

  2. I seriously can’t wait to knit myself that minty pullover. No pressure 😉

    1. Pressure away! Knowing that other people can’t wait to knit one of my designs helps me get things out in a timely manner.
