Hello!

I finished the body of my Such Flattering Puff Sleeves the other day. I pinned the shoulders so I could try it on. I was worried about how the color would look on me, but the color is fine. That’s not the real issue I discovered when I tried it on.

The sweater makes me look just a little bit busty. And by “just a little bit” I mean extremely. I think I could get a nice sweater girl look going on if I had a bra that was the right shape, but I’m not sure how this is going to work on me with puff sleeves for everyday wear. We’ll just have to wait and see.

  1. It looks fine to me. Great even!

  2. The color is gorgeous on you! I have a few sweaters that emphasize bustyness in a not-so-fun way but it’s totally manageable/sweater-girl-ish (in a good way I think) with the bali flower bra. (Available in fun colors like … beige! Haha, but seriously I do like the shape of it, so the lack of color range is okay by me.)

  3. I think you look great! Curvy and fabulous.

  4. I know what you mean, the rib of the ribbing getting wider works like a magnifying glass sometimes. Nice to play around with designwise but a thing I usually avoid in sweaters for myself. (But I’m a very busty gal).

    Hi Andi,
I know this is an older post, but I thought I’d ask anyway– I’ve seen several times where you take patterns from a Stitch in Time that are flat patterns and translated them to knit in the round. Could you explain how you do that- do you just start at the bottom, but join the front and back to knit in the round following the patterns until you get to the armholes and then work the front and back separately to the neckline then seam the shoulders, do necklines and then set in sleeves? Could you possibly do a tutorial on how to knit a “flat pattern” in the round for those of us who hate seaming? Thanks so much!!!!
