Hello there! My name is Andi, short for Andrea. I am currently in my 20′s and an English major at University of Puget Sound. I’m originally from Northern California. During the school year I live in WA but for the rest of the time I’m back in California at my parents’.
I’ve been knitting since 2004 and crocheting since 2006. I knit my first sweater in 2007 and I started designing in 2009. Wool and alpaca are my favorite to work with. I mostly make cardigans and hats. Sometimes I will allege that I’m going to make gloves, but that hasn’t happened yet. I love bright colors, but I’m terrible with multicolored yarn so I mostly work with solids.
I love comics, books, and movies. I have a ridiculous collection of bad vampire movies and I adore B Sci-Fi and horror movies from the 50s. I’m also a big fan of murder mysteries and slightly surreal films. My love of movies tends to bleed over into my crafts in small ways.
I have a Welsh Corgi named Bean and an older sister named Britta. They appear on my blog from time to time.
