Not My FO: Vintage Craft Smock

When I was home from Thanksgiving last fall, I helped my mom sort through some of her big pattern stash, and we ran across this old smock pattern. My mom thinks it used to belong to my Grandma, and we were surprised to see that all the pieces were in good condition. She pulled this amazing quilters fabric from her stash and started to make me a smock. When I visit, one of our favorite things to do is to watch period murder mysteries and my mom sews and I knit. This smock didn’t get finished over Thanksgiving so it got put on hold. When I was visiting my parents a few weeks ago, my mom dug it back out and finished it. It’s completely adorable, and its huge pockets will be handy for when I’m working on sewing projects.
