I finished my yellow sweater on Monday (it’s blocking right now) so naturally I had to start a new project! I had planned ahead, and I bought new yarn last weekend so I could jump right into my new sweater. It’s going to be a short sleeved pull over that’s mostly crocheted with knit ribbing.
Here’s my swatch of the main stitch pattern. It took a few tries to get the stripes right. I originally had the yellow and green switched around, but my sister mentioned in passing that it looked like avocado and eggs. That’s all I could see after that! I rearranged the stripe sequence and came up with this. The yarn is Spud and Chloe Fine. It’s a silk and superwash wool blend that’s pleasant to crochet with.
